The Manual for the validation of volunteers’ competences created by Voyce Project is now available in six languages. You can find and download it from this link, selecting the language you prefer once you are on the resources page.
The manual, one of the main output of our project, focuses on the validation of the eight key competences of the EU and proposes a model that is easy to use even for non-experts.
Since the organisations which host volunteers are often not aware about the importance of validating competences, and since the validation tools available until now were few and inadequate, we have created this tool considering both the needs of the volunteers and the practical ways in which the application of this model will take place. Youth workers from different countries have already tested it with hundreds of volunteers.
An instrument that is flexible and adaptable to the different contexts in which the volunteers are engaged, a specific tool that will help volunteers and organizations to enhance the competencies acquired thanks to volunteering activities.
